THE CLOUT AND BRAWN PROJECT
Clout & Brawn is a high end cosmetics brand situated in the United Kingdom. They offer a wide range of cosmetics lens products and accessories.
We were contacted to create the packaging design for their new line of cosmetics lens which has 9 variants; Black, Emerald, Ava, Grey, Honey, Moon, Nichole, Serah and Tokyo.
The Client needed a subtle, simple, and classy design. She needed something that could easily draw people in and she provided amazing images of her models which we took advantage of in creating the designs.
The main aim of the project was to create a minimal yet elegant box design for the cosmetics lens. We decided to make use of the colours of each lens as the base colour for a particular box relating to that lens. This project was somewhat poetic as each box had a story behind it.
We created two different boxes of varying sizes for the 3 months and 1 month lens for each variant. Looking at the gallery below you can see that we nailed the brief and the client was pleased with the final result.
BLACK
Not all who wander are lost

AVA
A beam upon the myrtle fell

GREY
Neutrality and balance, shade of mist, smoke and heavy clouds
HONEY
It is the pleasure of the bee to gather honey of the flower,
And also the pleasure of the flower to yield its honey to the bee.
For to the bee a flower is a fountain of life, To the flower, a bee is a messenger of love,
And to both, bee and flower, the giving and the receiving of pleasure is a need and an ecstasy.
MOON
Swaying your behavior between sanity and lunacy, a natural satellite bright in the sky, yet so beautiful
NICHOLE
Loved the sight of freedom, splashing with joy! Though diverse in features, unique in Nature!
SERAH
A girl comes wrapped in nothing but pink expectations, saccharine- infused with sweetness to be planted deep within tiny bones to replace marrow to sustain a life , because soft pink marrow makes for a prettier picture
TOKYO
Straining to see clearly & still stir what was left of her muse
